Hardware Detail
from $45.00

Hardware Detail
Your computer works hard. Dust builds up in fans and heatsinks, temperatures creep up, and thermal paste dries out — all of it adding up to a machine that runs hotter and slower than it should.

A CBIT Hardware Detail gets inside your system and cleans it properly. We disassemble the cooling system, clear out dust and debris from every vent and fan, and apply fresh thermal paste to the CPU to bring temperatures back down where they belong.

The difference is something you'll feel — quieter fans, cooler temps, and a machine that isn't working overtime just to keep up.

Starting at $45 for laptops · $55 for desktops"

Service Includes

  • Complete dust removal (fans, heatsinks, vents, case interior)

  • CPU thermal paste replacement

  • CPU Heatsink reseated and secured properly

  • Fan inspection (spin test, check for bearing noise or wobble)

  • Vent and intake/exhaust cleared

  • Basic cable tidy if accessible (desktops option only)

  • Post-clean temperature check to confirm improvement

Supreme Hardware Detail
from $75.00

Your machine deserves more than a dust-out and basic paste. The CBIT Supreme Hardware Detail is a full thermal overhaul — the kind of service most shops don't offer because most shops don't have the hands-on experience to do it right.

We go further than the standard detail on every front. Premium phase-change thermal interface material like PTM7950 or Conductonaut Extreme replaces the factory paste on both your CPU and GPU, targeting the two biggest heat sources in your system with material that outperforms anything that shipped with your machine. Where accessible, we inspect and replace VRAM thermal pads on the GPU — a commonly overlooked component that dries out over time and quietly throttles performance.

Every fan gets inspected for bearing wear and wobble, your BIOS fan curves get audited and adjusted to actually take advantage of the better thermals, and we assess your case airflow to make sure hot air has a clear path out.

Before we close it up, we run your system under load and document temperatures on both the CPU and GPU — then we do it again after. You'll get a before and after thermal report so you can see exactly what changed, not just take our word for it.

This is the detail for builders, gamers, and anyone who wants to know their system is running at its absolute best.

Starting at $75 for laptops · $95 for desktops
GPU repaste availability confirmed prior to service. VRAM pad replacement quoted separately if needed.

Detail offers:

  • Everything in the base tier

  • CPU repaste with PTM7950 phase-change pads or Conductonaut Extreme

  • GPU repaste with same premium material (subject to card disassembly — confirmed before service)

  • Before and after thermal screenshots on both CPU and GPU under load

  • Fan curve audit in BIOS — adjusted if not optimized for your hardware

  • Full airflow analysis — identify if case layout is working against cooling

  • VRAM pad inspection on GPU (replace if dried or compressed out — parts extra if needed)

  • Cable management cleanup for improved airflow (desktops)

  • Full component inspection — flag anything that looks worn, loose, or concerning

Supreme Water Cooled Detail
from $250.00

Everything in our standard Loop Detail, plus we go somewhere most shops won't — inside the blocks themselves.

Over time, micro debris, mineral deposits, and biological buildup accumulate inside your CPU and GPU blocks in places a flush cycle simply can't reach. The fins, cold plate, and jet plate all tell a story about how your loop has been performing, and cleaning them properly requires full disassembly, careful inspection, and reassembly with fresh seals.

This is the service for a loop that hasn't been touched in years, a build you're refreshing for a new lease on life, or an enthusiast who simply wants to know everything has been done right.

What's included — everything in the standard tier, plus:

  • Full disassembly of CPU waterblock

  • Full disassembly of GPU waterblock (subject to block design — confirmed before service)

  • Manual fin and cold plate cleaning to remove debris, deposits, and biological buildup

  • O-ring and seal inspection — replaced if worn (parts quoted separately if needed)

  • Cold plate inspection for corrosion or pitting

  • Reassembly with fresh seals before reinstallation

  • Full refill and bleed cycle after reassembly

  • Before and after thermal documentation under load on both CPU and GPU

Pricing:

  • One-Time — Standard (distilled) · $250

  • One-Time — Premium Coolant · $265

  • Maintenance Plan — Standard · $220 per visit

  • Maintenance Plan — Premium Coolant · $235 per visit

GPU block disassembly availability confirmed prior to service. O-ring and seal replacements quoted separately if required

Water Cooled Detail
from $185.00

A custom watercooling loop is one of the best things you can put in a high-end build — but it needs maintenance to keep performing the way it should. Coolant breaks down, biological growth builds up, and fittings that looked fine six months ago may tell a different story up close. Most people know they should flush their loop annually or biannually. Most people also keep pushing it off.

CBIT takes that off your plate. Our Watercooled Loop Detail is a full drain, flush, inspect, and refill service performed by someone who actually builds and runs custom loops — not a shop tech reading a procedure for the first time.

What's included:

  • Full loop drain

  • Flush cycle with dedicated loop cleaner to clear biological growth and residue

  • Inspection of all fittings, tubing, blocks, and reservoir for wear, discoloration, or early failure signs

  • Pump health check

  • Radiator fin cleaning and dust removal

  • CPU and GPU block seating verified

  • Refill with distilled water or premium coolant (EK CryoFuel, Mayhems, or similar)

  • Full bleed cycle to clear air pockets

  • Leak check and monitored dry run before closing the case

  • Before and after thermal documentation on CPU and GPU under load

Pricing:

  • One-Time — Standard (distilled) · $185

  • One-Time — Premium Coolant · $200

  • Maintenance Plan — Standard · $160 per visit

  • Maintenance Plan — Premium Coolant · $175 per visit

Maintenance plan customers are contacted at the 5-month mark as a reminder that their loop service is coming due. No upfront commitment — billed at time of service.
